hair dye!
I want to work on my site so bad but RAAAAAAAH as always it's hard to juggle all the things I want and need to do.
I'm still working on stuff for zines, which! The closer I get to finishing, the more excited I am about (probably because I won't have them on my mind anymore and can get back to drawing more personal art lol). I feel like I could knock one of the pieces I have to do out pretty quickly if I just sat down and focused. ...but that's the issue, ain't it! Especially when there's a brand new shiny game sitting right in front of me, begging to be played!
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk came out the other day. I've been looking forward to this game for.....about a year and a half I think? So you know my ass is glued to the screen. I'm not very far into it (I think maybe two chapters in? ...I'm a slow gamer ok!) but I'm having a ton of fun with it. I bought it on steam, completely forgetting about the fact that Keyboard+mouse cramps up my hands but! It was super easy to plug in my procontroller and get back into the swing of things. ...I really should have thought about using my procontroller back when I was playing hi-fi rush...that would have made so many things more fun lol
(Anyways go play Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Go play Hi fi rush too while you're at it!!! That game needs more love!)
Ok besides art and gaming I haven't been up to too much. I started playing Neopets again.......and I dyed my hair! Something I haven't done since....2018? 2019? For awhile there I would just bleach the top of my head for a pretty blonde/brunette combo. It was simple but I think I looked really cute!
For my hair dye I went with Good Dye Young's Narwhal and Move Mountains. I hadn't tried this brand before (I'm an arctic fox girlie who isn't a girl and before that a manic panic girlie who isnt a girl). They have a pretty great selection of colors that are cheaper than the other two brands I mentioned and I like how they have smaller sizes for people that just want to do streaks in their hair!
Application was super easy and the initial color is really good-comparable to arctic fox in my experience. I'll have to see how the color fading turns out but! so far! I like Good Dye Young and at least recommend their blue and green shades.
I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair but if I'm being honest, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it! It's no doubt a nice color, I just think I'm 1. not pulling it off 2. missing my blonde highlights lol. I'm looking on the brightside though! because hey, it might fade into a really cool color! Blue and green hair dyes are funny like that, you always get some pretty interesting results when the colors start to go.
I'll wait and see before I do anything crazy by trying to change it up. Maybe a week, who knows! I'm the type to take it as it goes.
Honestly, if I could have any superpower, I'd for sure go with shapeshifting but like. only for my hair. Like If I could only change aspects of my hair like the color and length, I'd be totally cool with that. That way, I could have any color I wanted whenever I wanted. My hair would turn into a mood ring!
